Mr. Long is a partner at Harden & Wells. His principal practice areas include investments, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, international trade, finance, stock shareholding system reform in state owned enterprises, anti-unfair competition law, intellectual property, technology transfers and hi-tech related matters. Before joining Harden & Wells, Mr. Long worked for several years in a prominent Beijing research institute as a software engineer and system integration engineer responsible for the development of computer software and system management. He was also in charge of the development and design of complex computer application systems. Mr. Long worked in the field of international trade for a Beijing based company in Maryland, U.S.A., from 1993-1994. Mr. Long has been qualified as a senior computer engineer. He passed the national bar exam and was admitted to practice in 1997.
Mr. Long received his B.S. degree in 1984 from the Department of Telecommunications Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Post and Telecommunications. He earned a Master of Law degree from the Law School of the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing in 2000.
Mr. Long Fei is a Member of the Internet & Electronic Commerce Law Committee of Beijing Lawyer¡¯s Association.
